To determine the best time zone to watch in the Moon Journal, you’ll want to visit the Time Convertor here.

  1. Open the link above in a new window.
  2. Under “Add locations”, type in your current city and country.
  3. Drag your location to the top of the list. This will then show you how many hours ahead or behind the other time zones are.
  4. Use the time that is closest as you are working with the Moon Journal (i.e. I live in Honolulu, Hawaii which is 2-3 hours behind PT depending on the time of year, so I would use PT and subtract 2-3 hours in my head.)

Remember: You don’t have to journal at the exact time of each moon phase. Sometime within 24-48 hours afterward is ideal, but ANYTIME after the time has passed is okay!
